Only thing im fixed on is the Corsair 650D as my case and really want a 6870 crossfire set up or better also a high quality sound car would be nice too but not a MUST. Im only purchasing from Newegg.com and am fixed on a $2000 Budget. I will be playing games like Crysis 2 and other heavy end games. Thanks for all the Help.

Total price is $2300, That's over budget but you could scratch the SSD which will save $300. You could get cheaper 6870's but the Hawk 6870 is the best on the market, so I recommend you keep that. Also sound cards are kind of over rated. Unless if you have a $500+ 5.1 speaker setup they will be useless. Save money on better speakers in my opinion. This system would kick serious ***.

actually a decent pair of headphones too... if you are a heavy gamer sound cards are amazing :) they bring a whole different dimention to games... try one youll see :p even my ooold SB audigy sounds better than my onboard on my SB mobo

I can extend My budget to $3000 if that helps, i dont want the i7 and rather go with i5 since gaming is a prioity and not much of a performance differece

with 3000 you can get two 6950s unlocked to 6970s. I mean seriously thats a bit overboard for a gaming computer.

If you can afford a $2000-3000 i'd suggest you get the i7. For 3k you could get a 6990 lol. But really you should get the i7.

Also I do have a sound card but the real quality is mostly with some really good speakers. I had a 2.1 setup with my Laptop and it sounded the same pretty much on my desktop. The sound cards to have nice sound enhancements but on board does the job well. If you have a massive setup then sound card would be handy but I really think they are over rated. Especially when you have them going above $100 into the $150. I'd rather spend an extra $100 on better speakers.

For headphones those sound enhancements to come in handy but you'll need a good headphones to begin with. I'd would rather keep an i7 then get an i5 and a sound card but that's your call.
