Benching OS

Is there somewhere I can get a benching OS, or would it just be better for me to make one? Not that I am familiar with making one, but I figure there has to be a guide or something out there somewhere. Thanks for any help

Has anyone used an N-Lited version of win 7 x64? If so, is it any better then XP? I ask because I can't find my XP install disc, but my win7 is on hand. Just wanted to know before I do it if it will be worth it. Thanks

7-64 is pretty good for some 3d stuff.
It's by and large awful for cpu benchmarks though.

I'll have to dig up my xp disc then. I have been avoiding it because it could any where, house? garage? barn?
