Sabertooth p67 and GTX295 = incompatible?

my system is :

Intel Core™ i7 Quad Processor i7-2600K 3,4GHz
ASUS Sabertooth P67
Corsair Vengeance™ DDR3 1600MHz 8GB CL9 Kit w/2x 4GB XMS3 modules
Nvidia evga Gtx295
NZXT TEMPEST Midi Tower Svart FAN: 2x 120mm Front, 1x 120mm Side, 2x 140mm T
Seagate Barracuda 7200.11 500GB
Corsair TX 650W PSU

Now to the problem
on boot i only get an black screen and then VGA_LED is RED on mobo = no vga detected
but the funny part is, if a change my gpu to an HD4850 all runs just perfect

things i have done to get it to work:
Gtx295 works fine in an other system
system works great if i put in my HD4850 card
change my psu to an Corsair HX 750W PSU same problem
checked mem one by one no change
reset cmo no change
use 2 pcie slot no change
change monitor no change

anyone got any suggestion, have RMA 1 mobo got a new today same old same old with this one..

Pretty sure that your issue here is that P67 doesn't natively support SLI, and you're trying to get it to recognize a card which is 2 GTX 275s in SLI. AFAIK GTX590 and 295 are not compatible with vanilla P67 without an NF200 or something along those lines.

what do u mean "doesn't natively support SLI"????

i just copy past from www.asus.com from Sabertooth P67:

"Quad-GPU SLI and Quad-GPU CrossFireX Support!

SABERTOOTH P67 brings multi-GPU configurations through both SLI™ and CrossFireX. This motherboard features the powerful Intel P67 platform, optimizing PCIe allocation in multiple GPU configurations. Expect a brand new gaming style like you’ve never experienced before!"

Too many platforms. I got confused. Yes it should support that card. Email/phone ASUS (they pick up and speak English I've tried it) and also post on their forums. A good person to ask is JJ, he's one of their PR people. You can find him on Youtube as ASUSIlluminati.

I cant be sure of your issue outside of making sure all the power plugs are plugged in properly.

That said, 650W PSU for a 295 is cutting it too close for me. That 750W is what I would use personally.

Is there a 4 pin molex on the board by the pcie slot? I highly doubt this is it, but if its there, plug a molex in there.
