Verdict?

Hello fellow overclockers.

im wondering if these temps for stock cooling are perfectly safe for every day use (gaming,image editing etc).

I have a 4ghz oc on a i5-650 (200blk x25 1.3vc)

according to hwmonitor it is currently idle at 48c-52c and when gaming in the 60c area.

are these temps ok or should i consider lowering the oc.

That's nothing. You're fine.

the temps are fine... BUT, they are quit high on idle...and load temps only 8-12C? Something is not right.

Try putting a REAL load on the PC (Prime 95 Large FFT) and see what the temps get to. If you start passing 80C, just stop the testing.
