Hi, I have this PC:
MB: GIGABYTE P67-UD7-B3
CPU: Intel Core i7 2600K - 3,4Ghz
RAM: Corsair Vengeance XMP 4x4GB, 1600Mhz
GPU: GIGABYTE Nvidia GTX 590 3GB
HDD: WD1003FBYX, 1000GB
CPU COOLER: Corsair Hydro Series H70
SSD: Kingston SVP100S2/96G
PSU: Seasonic X-750W ATX-P4
CASE: Enermax Hoplite ECA 3220
MONITOR: Samsung Syncmaster P2770HD - 1920x1080 resolution 60hz

And I want to overclock my i7 2600k to 3,8Ghz- Will it be stable? Can I destroy my hardware if I overclock it to turboboost 3,8Ghz? Cause I think my 1 GTX590 is bottleneck by CPU...

You can do around 4.4~4.5ghz by only changing the multiplier and CPU voltage..

You will need around 1.35v for the CPU to do that. That H70 should keep it plenty cool at that also.

edit: a 750w PSU is fine, I only have an 800w.

2nd edit: "Can I destroy my hardware if I overclock it to turboboost 3,8Ghz?" Nope, not a chance, will run 3.8ghz for years...

Haha, 3.8 I thought was the stock turbo-boost value. Shoot for 4.5ghz imo, you should have 0 issues getting there as soon as you do it step by step and finding the required voltage to get there. A 590 will pull a lot of power though under load (my system in my signature pulls about 450W at stock (measured at the socket with a kill-a-watt) on the 580 and CPU, so a 590 will pull a bit more than that).

Best of luck!

Yea, 3.8 is the stock turboboost. Not sure about those Gigabyte boards but my ASUS overclocks it's self to 4.4ghz LOL

Honestly to do 4.4~4.5ghz the ONLY settings (other than maybe disabling speedstep) he would need to do is set the voltage to 1.35v and the multi to 44. I bet money that would be stable just like that!
