I had no idea Plextor was making SSD's to be honest, so I'd like to hear if they're any good.

Also Sandisk just started selling SATAII SSD's and the 120GB model's available at Newegg.

The reviews look as solid as Crucials M4 and the speeds look only a little slower than the OCZ's, but more reliable. But these support SataIII 6gig/ps , AHCI, and TRIM.

Looks 'slow', last genish...not a Sandforce controller, Marvell, doesnt compress data for its speed...

All modern SSD's support AHCI and TRIM..not sure how you are judging reliability though.

The speeds are about the same as Crucials and 80% of the OCZ's high end models, and quite a bit faster than most of the rest of the OCZ's. But it seems there is a high rate of failure in the OCZ's, so I would rather have reliability.

seems like will be slower than Crucial or Intel in random transfers. IOPS is more than 2x lower than Crucial that isn't best in this category.
Here is table for Crucial.
Don't look on declared max transfers , they're sequential only and for example my M4 64GB is making up to 470/115MB/s while should 415/95 MB/s. Crucial has also something called garbage collection that is working like TRIM also in RAID.

I would run from a new player to the SSD game, give them some time to make mistakes with their first products, maybe in year 2 or 3 I'd be willing to try them.

I see now what you guys are saying. I think I will get the M4 instead. Thank you all.
