The OC guide?

I should have my new parts for my build by Monday so I was trying to research OC'ing as much as I can. I noticed the guide in this forum is from 2005, is it still applicable? Is there anything I should know that's not in that guide or is there an updated guide somewhere?

I've got a few video guides on Youtube saved but I like being able to read the details and knowing exactly what does what and why. Thanks

What are you system specs, specifically your processor? There are guides for different families of processors.
