Upgraded CPU, but performance won't increase?

I went from a AMD X2 3600 (1.9GHz) to a AMD X2 5000 (2.6GHz) Frame time is Identical! What is going on? I made sure CPU is running at 2.6GHz and it is... How is this possible? Windows XP 32bit, Beta Client 7.0.

don't rely on v7 to give you the correct frame time. Read your log and calculate it your self. You should see a nearly linear improvement in frame times, 27% faster.
