I am looking at powerpoint slides using MS ppt 2003. On my desktop the slides are normal. But on my laptop the slides are missing the equations that show up in equation boxes.

I have tried reinstalling MS Office 2003. I have tried updates.

If I clik on the equations, they show up in the equation editor, exactly as they are suppose to look, but back on the slide the box is blank.

Any ideas how to deal with this problem?

Were the equations originally created in Word 2003?

Is the power point presentation originally made in 2007?

It is known that the equations created in 2003/2007 do not show up w/out compatability packs for 2007/2003.

I've ran into this problem while in university. Ended up using 2007 for all my documents and equation writings...
