Hey guys Newegg just updated the price for this drive as a sort of "End of Summer blowout"

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820227726

Sustained Sequential Read
up to 525 MB/s (SATA 6Gbps)
up to 280 MB/s (SATA 3Gbps)

Sustained Sequential Write
up to 500 MB/s (SATA 6Gbps)
up to 260 MB/s (SATA 3Gbps)

I have read some of the reviews which beat the thing down into the ground, but I am still tempted to give it a shot. With all the freezes and the BSOD it seems that it's not worth my time but according to some people the problems are not as common with AMD systems. Obviously I will be updating the firmware as soon as I get it.

Also! This drive has a 3 year warranty! Has to be worth something right?

Let me know what you guys think.:)

SSD's are worth it... no doubt.

I know I am already the proud owner of a Corsair C300 128gb which I bought few months ago. I love the thing but I paid 230 for it! The Agility 3 is supposed to be faster but with A LOT of problems.

I would say that it is worth it for sure. I already have that exact SSD and I think I paid about 150 for it during an NCIX summer sale. I am running an intel/nvidia system and have had no problems with it so far.

3 year is pretty much standart number. In term they give even lesser they definitely might be hypocritical by saying "2 million h MTFB" and finally they dont trust even 1% of it. I generally have a :D at so many stuff that i pretty much smile the whole day, but maybe thats good that way.

And please go read those comments and be aware that it is sadly pretty much a dice with those kind of stuff (own experience), all those drives got same controller and firmware:

Btw: There is a guy, he had in mind... and then... ;)

For how long? Native or non native on board?
