i have a Question about a volcano 6cu i looked at the copper insert and notice it sticks out of the aluminum just a little bit and when i attached it to a mobo it rocked a little too much for me is this ok or would it be ok to lap the copper to make it flush with the aluminum just wondering would it decrease cooling or mess something up

Well i'm not really familiar with the volcano 6, but if only the copper insert is touching the cpu die anyways, i don't think lapping it is necessary, unless you want it to look smoother or there are noticable imperfections in the actually copper insert, it really all comes down to preference here as apposed to necesity.
