Wow...has Asus ever been quiet about what they are going to do in regard to the new Sandy Bridges coming out and I need a new computer.

Money is not an issue. Im an Extreme puchaser although I am troubled by Asus's relative silence on this. Since the 486's I've been purchasing Asus and have always had good luck with them. However, due to their relative silence, I'm beginning to wonder. Im actually considering buying an Intel.

Im not a gamer and have never overclocked. Does anyone have any good advice on a good workstation board?

But I was asking about Sandy Bridge and they will have the new LGA 2011 socket.

Ooops... The SB-E chips should be out shortly. With that comes another chipset, X79. Asus will be procducing those, sure. As far as workstation boards, any board will do.

Asus has broken their silence. The board is known as the P9XV79.

It looks very good.
