How can I assign ip addresses to my two computers without using a DHCP server? I have a D-Link DI-713P wireless broadband router and access point. Help please.

My setup is Linksys, but I'm guessing it's the same. First set your DHCP range so that the ip addresses you want aren't in the DHCP range. Then just set up the computers with the ip you want. The key is to use an ip that isn't in the router's dhcp pool.
