Anybody in here that has an athlon xp tell me if it is possible to get 1.8 ghz with the 1800+ and using what hsf

thanx

depends on what stepping and the safest cooling would
probably be watercooling.

I just submitted an article for consideration in which two separate HSFs get my XP 1800 up to 1813 Mhz. It should be out in a few days. Realistically, given the resultant core temp each of them runs at, it would appear that 1800+ Mhz is an area I would consider to be in the Water Cooling domain.

doubtfully without a PAL8045 or swiftech without a volt mod unless you are gonna water cool. I am going for 1800mhz with my 1900+ and i heard it is pretty hard.

my 1600+ hits 1.7 at 1.8VCORE. anything past that it exceeds my 47c temp ceiling and starts to get erratic.
