If i put Windows 7 onto a SSD and make an image of it can i then put that image onto another hard drive if that SSD fails?
 
not that i dont trust the poster abouv i would just like verification from another person if they know if its possible, thanks to the person about and who ever else posts

I'm not sure why you would question him, but he is right. I did this when I used drives in a RAID. I used a single drive with Windows installed as a "restore" drive and would image it to the RAID array for quick reinstalls. Different use, same concept.
