Safe to OC?

System specs
Ga-H55m-S2v motherboard
i3 550 3.2 GHz
GB Kingston ram
1 TB Hitachi hard drive
Ati 5750 OC
480 watt Logisys
I am new to overclocking and i need some help.
I have a program that came with my motherboard called easy tune 6. I want to overclock my CPU but i thought i would come to the forums in order to get approval from experienced overclockers. Tell me what you guys think is it safe to OC my cpu?

It is usually a better bet to OC in your BIOS, but there really isn't a problem with using a tool like that one that came with your motherboard. You could also use Intel Extreme Tuning Utility if you still are uncomfortable with your BIOS.
