Question Upgrading from 560 TI.

I feel like my Palit 560 Ti's are Trash. I got the Sonic Palit one's and I want to upgrade to something that wont demolish the bank. I was thinking 570 Sli or should I go ahead and get the 580's SLI? I am working with a 1080p Monitor.

my rig is:

i5 2500k OC @ 4.5ghz
8Gigs pc1600
2x 1TB HD 7200rpm
with this power supply.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...aidmax%201000w

I hear thats a crap Power supply, but I REALLY REALLY dont wanna upgrade that too... not now

Any suggestions for a GPU that will yield some good results, please input. Thank you!

I *THINK* the Raidmax RX are decent... but most certainly run...FAST from Raidmax PSU's...

What is going on with your 560ti's that are the issue? Do you have a multi monitor setup? If not, why SLI in the first place? If you are single monitor 1920x1200 or less, i would just buy a single 580 and call it a day.

Nothing wrong, I think one is like... Messed up. Sometimes when i shut down, I have to hard reset because the monitor will not read the signal (could be on monitor part) but time it works without a hitch. I hear the 560ti do not get along with the drivers also.

Why SLI? maybe a epeen ego *lol* I, personally like to do it big.

Some of your problems might be in the SLI implementation is my point... my other point is there is no point in SLI (outside of epeen) with 1920x1200 monitors or less. i still say go big with a single 580 and call it a day.

I had no problems with my 560ti and the drivers, btw.

Absolutely. That and a potentially garbage PSU.

It is possible, yes. That PSU SHOULD be fine if it can put out its rated power.. but again its a Rosewill which 80% are trash. Im just not certain yours is or isnt. A 580 will stress it out less than 2 560ti's will.

I mean, I run my games ultra, I am 99.99 my OC for cpu is stable. When I upgraded to new drivers, i started crashing, then revered back to 275.33 (?) and everything is fine. my temperatures are Low. 50-60 peak when playing... Maybe my ram? I can see a headache coming and i thought it was my Ti's being crap.

Well, now that you gave more information, its obvious its the driver version you used.

Well everything is gucci now since im back to my old driver, did a driver sweep and everything, but whats good a card if i cant maximize it and use the latest driver and my programs look like crud. (RAGE is choppy and horrible) with this driver but when i update its all good, but I sacrifice other games

s/n: I live in Maryland :O
Edit: How can u pinpoint if its psu failure also/cpu failure/GPU failure.

Yeah... its possible there isnt a good SLI profile for rage yet. I dont know. I only use SLI to benchmark since I get all the performance I need out of a single GTX580.
