Since this is a older case I started by improving the air flow.

Adding a second 80mm fan to the rear.

Cut top and added grille for 3 140mm fans.

Continued by making the brackets to hold 2 140mm fans.

Mounted 2 140mm fans. The third 140mm is from the PSU that will be inverted so it has a clean air supply.

Wow, loving what you've done with things. Thats now the sexiest Lian Li case I've seen, Those Xiggy fans, do they have LEDs? I had some Xiggy's in my old Fractal case, the fans with LED's had better quality long life bearings so I simply cut the wires to the LED's which kept my case nice and dark.

It's amazing how well the silver interior of the case goes with the black components. The constant stream of black interiors on cases is getting rather boring, silver looks sweet!

Why'd you go with an X4? X6's can be had nice and cheaply these days. You've some other rather nice and expensive components so I don't quite understand that particular choice.

No there the non LED fans talked to PerformancePCs and told I was looking for a nice quite fan with good airflow and he said he was really liking the new xigma fans so I decided to try them out so far you can barely here the computer running and its stays at room temp.

As for the CPU I couldnt pass up the deal of $100 shipped for it. I bought it before Bulldozer's where released I plan on upgrading to the 4 core bulldozer chip after a while.

Think I did pretty good after all mail in rebates and sales I waited on over the last few months I got everything for right under $1000.

Having some issues getting stuff to run at stock speed. Hopefully can resolve somewhat quickly so I can start OCing.

Here is a link to the problem thread.

Still having problems with the RAM. For some reason can't get them to run stable even with backed off timing. Really not sure what the problem could be.

Have you tried increasing the voltage a little?

I did a lot of adjustments last night and it got me no where. So I started today back at 1333 9-9-9-24 at 1.5v and everything on CPU back to what I had it at. Been doing a lot more fine adjustments and so far its been going a lot better. It was late last night and I was making quite a few changes think I was moving just a little to fast. Ill post up some updates tonight.

Been stable for 7hrs on Prime95 now. Going to let it keep running and hopefully start OCing in the moring.

So somewhere between the 8th and 9th hr of Prime95 the computer Blue Screened. Really not sure where to go with this was thinking about pulling out 2 sticks of the RAM and seeing what happens till I get the Bulldozer chip.

Try just bumping the Vdimm up to like 1.55 or 1.6, youve got that IMC loaded down pretty heavily. 16GB is alot of memory for a chip optimized for 4gigs at 1333. You shouldnt have any issues getting it stable its just going to take some encouragement.

I have had the Vdimm up to 1.67 the CPU-NB up to 1.3 at the same time and it still wasn't stable I took two sticks out to see what it will take for 8GB to be stable then I will try throwing them back in. Probably going to order the FX-4100 on Black Friday hopefully will find some kind of deal.

So today took out two of the sticks of RAM to see if I could get those to be stable. But before I started messing with RAM again I decided to see if the CPU was still stable at the voltage I have it at so I ran Prime95 on Small FFT with RAM underclocked to 1066. Ran with out issues here are the results so tomorrow I will start with the RAM again and see if I can get this resolved. I am order the AMD FX-4100 this week sometime and hopefully that will end my issue with the 16GB of RAM.

Ya I looked at the FX-8120 but I have no need for it so no need to spend the extra money. Also kinda looking forward to it only being 95w. Thinking this cooler will give me great temps and room for overclocking.

So this morning I woke up and took a different approach I decided to bump all the voltages up to the safest max and set everything to there stock speeds and so far its been stable. So if it goes 12hrs I will start OCing from there and move the voltages down when I reach the limit.
