How hot your CPU actually runs VS Prime 95

RISE OF FLIGHT

BAD COMPANY 2

MASS EFFECT 2

DEUS EX HR

BF3 incl flying

FLIGHT SIM X

DIRT 3

And now how the torture tests performed:

P95

IBT on high setting

As you can see most games are in the 60s and don't stress the CPU quite as hard. Just for informative purposes. Sorry one screenie is missing the GPU temp. Generally my GPU temp stays low even at 1.1v because ASUS DCUII cooler rocks IMO. It's amazing Deus Ex runs 50c max while IBT exceeds 80.

I was surprised to see FSX, a four year old game, hitting the highest CPU temperatures. That game multithreads big time. Really CPU intensive. Since the game is older you can see the GPU did not get very warm.
Have a good one guys.

Tests were run on sig rig @ sig speed and 925 core speed on the 580 gpu. Room temp was about 22c.
Games were run the highest setting that gives me 60FPS across the board. In BFBC2 thats max everything 16xAA 32XAF HBAO and multisampling transparency on. In BF3 its 4XAA no AF HBAO on. Etc.

My experience has always been Normal (gaming) use was ~10C less than P95 Small FFT. Linx/IBT/Linpack/OCCT was ~10C more than P95.
