If I told you I'd have to kill you, and since I don't know any of you it would be a lot of time/work to find you.

As a side note, for all you who are unemployed, don't lose hope. I was unemployed for about a year and in 6 days and 2 interviews landed a great job. It can happen.

I had a similar experience. After 11 months out of work (officially ) I took a temp-to-hire position, then near the end of that contract I interviewed for my current job. Ended up with two full time job offers at the same time. Both were good jobs and would have been happy with either of them. I was feeling a little hopeless near the end of those 11 months.

I work as technical support (phone based) for CCC Information Services. We provide the estimating program that body shops and nearly all insurance companies use to write up estimates on vehicle collisions.

I've been working here since 2008. I go to school at the same time, so it is a pretty relaxing job to have.

Officially my title is IT Software Technician. What that really means is that I do everything. I am the sys admin, network admin, help desk, phone systems, CCTV and basic DB guy. It was my first job out of college, BS in Network and Communications Management. I have been here for 3 1/2 years and really would like to find something else. I hate drive 40 min each way and management likes to do all kinds of crazy things and waste a bunch of money.

I am blessed to have a job and will wait till I find something better.

PM to themself: Time for some sleep. ZZzzzzz.

Hopefully you're better than that. Seriously in my company they have a PMP complex and we have a ton of PMs (some with different titles). I seriously wonder what they actually do when they're not scheduling meetings or sitting there taking notes.

I'm guessing that is something like building management systems? I'm finishing up my EE (finally) and am thinking about doing something with building management systems.

I work for one of the two main Slot Machine gaming manufacturers in Nevada, and I get to test Gaming Software. I make sure that the "games" are engaging, and rob you blind while you are being entertained. This job is very fun, and it allows me to get a free ticket to E3 every year (air/ rooms/ food/ time off not included. )

Ah, a coveted E3 ticket. So do they give you a stack of quarters to test it with and see how much you lose/win by the end of the day? Or is your salary 6 figures, but you must spend 50% of it daily on their games?
