That's right folks, we here at OCF have decided that in lieu of the official Forum Wars this year we're going to throw our own.
Here's the catch: Only people officially on the OCF team with Lounge access can participate.

Why should you care? Because this is a fantastic way to learn how to tweak benchmarks like 3d01 and spi32m (two of six benchmarks we'll be using), as well as to get to know some of your team mates better as you compete with and against them.

We're looking at kicking it off on January first, so those of you who aren't on the team yet have a chance to cough up some scores and gain access!

The very simple version of the rules is thusly:
Four man teams, each with one FW/Benching Veteran to guide the team and teach tweaks, as well as to teach how to find tweaks.
There will be a limit to the number of CPU and GPU cores are used.
You'll have to chose between taking the CPU cold or the GPU. This is a rather interesting balancing act if you think about it.
Lastly, 3 and 4 way crossfire/SLI on older cards only counts as two cores. That's right folks, you can run 4x4890 and stomp 1x/2x 5870 into the ground and it only counts as two cards!

Further updates will be posted as the date draws near.
