Need Help Refilling ink Cartridge


Guys i dont get it, i made a nice needle hole in my lexmark Z51 ink cartridge and i took a an injector and put the ink in, and it doesn't print black, just blank pages, did i do anything wrong?

I have only done Canon ink tanks, but they have a plug on top that you remove and put the ink into there. Sometimes the nozzle will get gunked up. You can use an alcohol wipe to carefully clean it off and then run several cleanings with the printer.

How long was the cartridge empty for?....did you manually clean the head before putting it back in?...
