So I've been running into an issue that has me baffled.
Currently I have a Radeon 5870 hooked up to 3x ASUS VE276Q monitors (one on DP native, 2 on DVI)
The monitors are currently set to portrait and I have them mounted on a triple display stand vertically. I've found this to be optimal for such large monitors as trying to eyefinity game across 3x 27" monitors in landscape setting just isnt feesible. You find yourself having to turn your head so far to see everything.
So here's the problem.
Every single time I reboot the displays reset.
If I reboot from Eyefinity, the displays reset to triple-cloned mode (each monitor displays the same thing) but in landscape mode, not portrait like I have it set up.
If I reboot from extended desktop portait (non-eyefinity) mode (middle display primary) it resets to extended desktop landscape left display primary.
Does anyone know how to get the settings to stick so I dont have to use my hotkeys to apply my profile after logging in every time?
Its particularly annoying because the login screen flips to landscape before I manage to get logged in.
Any insight would be appreciated.
A little info about my setup:
Intel i7 860
AMD Radeon 5870 with Catalyst 11.11 (it did it with older drivers as well)
Asus P7P55D-E Motherboard
8 gig of 1600 mhz memory
2x OCZ Vertex 60 gig drives in RAID 0
4x Western Digital Caviar Black 500 gig drives in RAID 5
Corsair HX850 PSU
I am running DisplayFusion Pro desktop management software. And before you ask, I have indeed tried disabling it between reboots to see if it is causing the issue. It does not fix it.
