EVGA X79 FTW Preview Photos

An EVGA X79 FTW has made its way to our site for review. It's headed to EarthDog for reviewing tomorrow but I snapped some photos and wanted to share them with you to wet your whistle.

The last EVGA board I had was a P55 FTW and loved everything about it. Hopefully this one performs as good as it looks. We'll find out in a couple of weeks.

Sure makes me wish I was reviewing this one!

(Some benchmarkers already saw these from the new toys thread, but not everyone ventures in our cave so I'm sharing them here too.

Yep...need the classified for 4x. That's the only difference between the two.

Looks good, hope they did a better job than with the P67 version. P55 was awesome and then their team quit lol

K|ngp|n is their r'n'd/tech/test lead, and TiN works with him.. I suspect they got this board to kick some serious tail.

I heard good reviews of the Z68 FTW.. One can only hope they carry on the awesome.

Yeah hopefully it is good. No one would touch the P67 FTW with a 10 foot pole when I tried to sell it so it now lives in my media pc. http://www.hardwarecanucks.com/forum...rd-review.html

I've had good experiences with the P67 FTW, I wonder why yours was so hard to sell. Did you have major problems with it?

I'm looking forward to the X79 FTW review.
