Psd would be fine. From there I can move it to another format if I need to

I'm totally digging the first design (the white shirt one). I'm not a big fan of old English style fonts. I'd be down to order one! Maybe I can get a few of my co-workers to join the team

The team sign-up sheet is on the cilpboard, sitting on the card table by the front door.

"alpha-geek ", that has a ring to it.

+1 Adak. And put me down for a couple of shirts as well. I have no idea what printing costs run but I'd think in this economy you might want to farm out the job quote to a couple of print shops just to keep up the competitive spirit; there'll be some hungry printers out there.

He works for the printer. I don't think you are going to get a better deal, plus you need to have SOME loyalty.

Quite probably true - however - you don't want to rely on a supposed low price loyalty, on an uninformed basis. Best bet would be to get at least one comparative bid, from another printer (preferably one on the other side of town, or next town over), quietly.

You're not "throwing it in the current printers face", you're getting an informed cost basis. Any businessman knows the huge advantage of it, and would respect that.

Just stumbled on an Overclockers forum advertiser for custom logo'd clothing:

Once I get all the costs together I will post then up. If someone would like to check a printer in their area that would be more than ok with me. I'm pretty sure he runs my stuff close to cost. you might be able to shop around and get a better price on the internet from a bigger printer but to be honest I don't really have the time and all the local printers know each other in this area. I'm not about to jeopardize a working relationship/friendship just to save a few bucks. Plus he is local to me and easy to stop in and check on things.

Let me post up the prices and then if someone else beats them then we go with their guy.

I asked him to get me a price on the overclockers logo from the front page and I changed computing to folding. He is running it through the machine to get a stitch count. I should have that in a few days.

It is rarely a good idea to burn bridges over a few dollars.

^^^ I agree.

But there is a big difference sometimes, between what you think you know, and what you know.

Ive been an independent consultant since 2002. At the moment i am too busy and i have never advertised. Its all word of mouth. Who you know is as important as what you know. Who you know might get you in the door, what you know keeps you there.

Couldn't have said it better myself. That's how I get my business, and how I stay in business

I'd be down for at least one, maybe more depending on the shirt. Kind of like the pirate theme.

If we don't hear anything by the end of the month or so, then we can pursue other options. I really like these designs, though.

nahmus has gotten us good deals in the past on shirts.

I'd be up for some new shirts in the closet.
