Outright SLI is a bad idea. A single card is usually a much better option. What resolution do you play at?

Personally I would grab a cheaper GTX 560 Ti. Just a normal model; over the 448 cores model. Or grab a HD 6950 2GB if you're not biased.

But that's up to you. But I strongly recommend against outright SLI. Though, to be fair; 460 SLI Stands up to a GTX 580..

1920/1080 will be strictly for playing Bf3, Batman, and a few other games. Also i already sli two 9800gtxs.

What are the rest of your current system's specs?

If you already have a GTX 460 & enough power supply, SLI can be an inexpensive upgrade path.

If not, a single, more powerful card will be a better route.

I have an MSI 790FX-GD70 motherboard, Amd 965 overclocked to 4000, 4 gigs of memory, antec 750watt powersupply and two 9800gtxs sli.

IMO go for the single card now, then get another one down the road.

That's been my upgrade path since I crossfired a pair of X1900XTs.

Actually one more question lol. Should I run one 9800gtx for my physx?
