I am looking for a dvi-hdmi adaptor that allows audio to pass through. The adaptor I have doesn't do it and I heard I need a special adaptor. I looked through Newegg's adapators and I don't know which one would work for me.

If anyone knows which one would do what I am looking for I would like to here about it.

Thank you.

I do not know. Sugguestion, check specifications on 4850, it may not support HDMI audio.
Generally the only reason to run audio to a monitor or TV is to use their speakers.
Mostly not a good idea.
I have been using an Altec Lancing 2.1 set up I got on sale, upgrading to Corsair I got on sale. Genius makes a 14watt 2.0 set which goes on sale often.
