which direction to face a delta FFB0612EHE cpu fan

I plan on buying this fan,my question is,when I mount it on the heatsink,should I point it so that it blows inward,towards the cpu,or outwards away from the cpu?,which would be better?,thank you:shock:

Moved this to the Cooling section for you (extreme is for dry ice / liquid nitrogen / chiller type stuff). What cooler do you have?
 
The way I understand it is that the heatsink is what draws the heat off the CPU, and the fan is there to blow the heat away from the heatsink.

Someone who knows what they're talking about, could you confirm/correct me? :3c
 
Delta fans are good at producing high static airpressure so they are ideal for "push" type configurations on heat sinks and radiators.
 
Why not try both and pick the best, it should not be that hard to change it. ;)
