Would 2 SSD's be better or can I partition?

So I'm debating hitting the purchase button right now between 2 Patriot Pyro 60GB SSD's (non-se) for $140 or a 120gb Patriot Pyro SSD (se) for $160. My original plan was to have one SSD for my OS and another for commonly used Programs, games, etc. Would it be possible to still achieve full potential out of the 120GB SSD if I partition it? Which is the better deal as well?
Here are the links to the products:

Depends on a few things, if your system is limited to slower sata speeds two might be better than one. I could also see why two could have some advantages like moving the pagefile to the secondary drive and lessen wear to the OS drive, and perhaps even by increasing the bandwidth. Having said that, larger single drives are usually faster than the smaller ones and partitioning a singe SSD would should not have the same effect on seek speeds that it would on a mechanical drive so it really just comes down to what you prefer. I have a pair of 128's that I use for OS and programs because I prefer a separate program drive but could also raid0 them in the future if I want.
