SOLVED Got CM Thermal Paste on pins and mobo socket

I was installing the Hyper 212 +( Newegg Deal) and I applied way too much thermal paste and it leaked on the side into the pins and when I pulled the cpu off it got some onto the mobo socket. What's the threat that the paste presents? I've been trying to clean it off with rubbing alcohol swabs and with Q tips but I can't get some off. Any help is appreciated. Thank you

if your using CM paste...... I think CM has conductive particles, where as MX4 does not so it would seem you need to completely remove all traces or it could zapp your chip.
