Console command to dismiss follower in Skyrim pls!

PLEASE what is the console command to dismiss a follower that has vanished for some reason. I can't pick up a new follower and my current one is invisible...?

Clearly it is a glitch.. I think it was a woman from near mistwatch but regardless I can only dismiss her with the console now or my game is stuck and I can't do the next quest where I need a specific follower from the companions. I can't find her she's vanished but the game insists I have a follower.

(sorry for making a seperate thread I've asked this 10 times and it keeps going un noticed)

set playerfollowercount to <0 or 1>

In your case using 0 should dismiss your follower.
