How hot is too hot?

I just built an i7 2700k and I overclocked it to 4.5 is 62* too hot. It only gets that hot when im playing battlefield.
 
That's not too bad. Try to keep it under 70C at load. Prime95 or Linx are good tools for loading the CPU, so check your temps after about 5-10 minutes of running those.
 
its the same when I run prime95. I have never overclocked before so I was just wondering.
 
yeah 80c max but 70c is safe, dont try this with AMD :D but i still have a heart for them
 
I heard that you don't really want to push the i7 2700k beyond 72.6 celsius... that was from INTEL.
