Hello,

I recently bought a bunch of new kit for my build and I've been having problems with it since day 1.

My system is:

-Intel Core i5 2500K 3.3GHz Socket 1155 6MB Cache Retail Boxed Processor
-Corsair Vengeance 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 1600Mhz CL9 1.5V Non-ECC
-Asus P8Z68-V LX Socket 1155 Onboard graphics output 8 Channel Audio ATX Motherboard
-Corsair 600W CX Series V2 PSU - 6x SATA 2x PCI-E
-Windows 64-bit
-a 1TB hitachi HDD
-and a Antec 300 case

As soon as I built the system I was having problems with it BSOD often and programs randomly closing every few minutes, I phoned ebuyer (where I got the items) and they told me to check the ram settings in the bios. I checked them and the speed was incorrect, after changing that they system got a bit better.

Now I am only having BSOD once every few hours, and for reasons unkown to me programs crashing every few hours(games, firefox, itunes).

And I was wondering what you guys would advice to do? Are there any other settings in the bios which could cause a problem? (I've checked the speed and timings and they're both correct)

Any help would help me a lot as I am a bit stumped on what to do now, short of just sending the ram back to ebuyer (which I want to be sure that the ram is faulty before I do, as they charge me if it tests fine)

Is there a way to do this automatically or like a program that does it? or do I have to go through my bios, write it all down then change it myself?

You'll either need to write down all of the current settings by hand, or take pic's of the BIOS screens and post them in this thread.
