Wing Commander Saga about to be released

I understand that Wing Commander Saga is being released on March 23rd. It has been under development for 10 years and will be free to download, own, and will soon be accompanied by open source code to develop mods as well.

Loved WC back in the day, downloading now

I was wondering in recent days what a modern WC would be like. Now that I've downloaded the game and played it, I have to say pretty fun. Considering that I've only played Wing Commander: The Secret Missions on my SNES back in the day, I can't claim to be an expert on the mythos.

I do like how they did autopilot. Was flying hands-off for at least half an hour before I discovered that little feature...
