Added New RAM, Random Blue Screens Of Death

Hey, ive recently installed DDR3 16gb of ram (4 sticks) from a company called OFFTEK it was bought to suit my computer (Dell Vostro 430 Desktop) and theyre all matching. Windows recognised the ram, also its showing on CPUZ etc, and the computer works.
However, Iive been experiancing blue screens of death randomaly
(this happens at times not when its under stress etc i find its more common when the pc is left idle..
I ran a memtest and it got 2 passes, no errors...
To best of my limited knowledge all my drivers are updated..
Firefox also has been crashing latley.. not sure if this is connected but ive never experianced it before so much, ive got the logs from blue screen error viewer which you can see below.. need help and suggestions please.

Please post pics of CPU-z tabs: "CPU", "Memory" and "SPD". Let's look at some bios settings and memory frequencies, timings and voltages.

Do you still have your old ram? If so, I'd suggest removing the new ram and putting the old stuff back in to see if the problem persists. If the problem goes away, you probably have your answer. Even then, however, I'd put the new stuff back in one more time, to see if the problem returns. If it doesn't, then don't worry about it unless it happens again, in which case, I'd RMA all 4 sticks of the new ram.

Sounds like you got bargain basement ram. Never heard of OFFTEK. Perhaps the old saying is true here: "You get what you pay for."

What i would do before doing anything else would be to update BIOS if possible. Then you could see if there was some compatability issues with old software vs new. Happened to me once, considering new RAM

This is pretty obvious but make sure it's seated properly. A lot of times you think it is when it really isn't.

Hi everyone, thanks for taking trouble to reply.
first made sure ram was fully pressed in and was ok.
updating bios is a bit out of my skill/comfort range.
Tried putting my old ram back in and everything back to normal.
So yes probably case of cheap ram £65 for 16gb has bit me in the ass.
Retailer has said will refund so am going to return.
thanks for help though, always nice to have someone to turn to.

Just a quick update.
Ram was returned and full refund received without any problem so can't / wont fault the supplier (Offtek) bought in uk.
