When,

a GTX 560 ti 448 looks as good as a GTX 580.

You've spent more in your PC than anniversary presents, every year..

Your wife buys you Benchmark suites for your birthday

The only thing stock is your 'stock of' thermal compound

You own more motherboards than there are people in your household

Passing a benchmark calls for a celebration

Your case has more lights than your home

A platter HDD just isn't enough anymore

Your machine is valued as much as a vehicle down payment

Your heatsink is the size of a lawnmower motor

You spend $20 in desktop speakers, but $100 in case fans

You are willing to spend the extra $50 on a power supply, but want the cheapest set of tires for your vehicle

You have a problem paying $20 for an oil change, but not for thermal compound

$45 Overnight shipping, no problem

Your average computer part is newer than your attire

A BSOD is not very scary

You have considered water cooling, or are using water cooling

You buy the latest and greatest, and then blame some sort of auto-charge conspiracy when it arrives sporting a fake surprise look when UPS knocks on the door

- When you have a note book next to your computer
which records all your configs.

- You take time out from the busiest schedule.. just to do some modding.

When you have a net-book to monitor your temps and voltages with a data logger.

^^^ +2

My computer still smells new. Sometimes I just take a big whiff of the top exhaust fan. And then I realise I have no friends.
