You'll be fine with an i3 and a 7770. Due to SBs per-core performance, even an i3 isn't a bottlenecking problem until you get into the high range of GPUs such as 580s and the like.

What you're describing is nearly equivalent to sig rig 2 below with an i3-2100 and clocked GTX460Hawk, and it's really a great gaming rig considering the price.

2100 vs 2130 is up to you. Basically 10% more clockspeed, so if it's more than 10% more money I'd just go with the 2100.
 
THE CPU"S are way way overpriced at Newegg.com and Microcenter. I was going to go ebay route.

Looks like I can get a i3 2120 for $100 bucks or for another $30 I can get a i3 2130
