*WARNING* MIVE BIOS 3208 Applies 1.5v to 2600K at Stock

And found that it was putting (according to the BIOS) almost 1.5v into the 2600k

good thing I noticed and changed it down to 1.3

I updated so that I could upgrade to IB here soon.

ASUS has EZflash so you just download the bios file to a USB drive, and flash from the bios menu. It's a one button operation .

Yeah very easy although I just updated my Rampage II Gene to the latest bios version and now it takes my computer 3 boot cycles to post.

IMHO, you should change the thread title to "*WARNING* MIVE 3208 BIOS applies 1.5v to CPU stock!!", just so others notice more easily.

Someone may ignore it if they just see that you updated to 3208.

Just my two cents!!

Apparently as long as everything is set to Auto it works as it should, as soon as you chance a setting is when it jumps. I'll ask a mod to edit it though as I can't as the thread is too old now. [edit -- thanks Matt!]
