Does anyone know if those usb 3 20 pin female header to usb 3 type a female connectors uses usb 3 on both the type a female connectors? Going to be buying the corsair 800d case and the front panel has two usb 3 type a male connectors. I want to buy this adapter to connect to my motherboard. I have seen some on ebay and they say it will only handle usb 3.0 on one of the female type a usb 3. So on all motherboards that have a 20 pin header usb 3 connection only able to use one type a usb 3.0? Why would manufacturers make a 20 pin adapter to two type a connectors if they can only support one usb 3 connection and the other one runs at usb 2? Any info on this would be great thanks.

I'm also confused by the question. If you are just going to purchase the 800D's connectors for the front panel and used them unmodified in your system, they would work.

No, they should both be USB3 females on the adapter. Are they both blue inside in the pics?
Silly eBay etailers....they sell stuff they don't know about all the time, and I end up looking up the product in Google to get the correct description.

sorry let me explain it better, connecting to picture a to picture b then to picture c. when you go to the link in picture b look at the description it says "this adapter will provide a single USB 3.0 female connection." so i was wondering if this is true or not.

Agreed. it will work fine, making both front ports work with USB3.
Like I said about stupid eBay sellers, their ad says "This adapter will provide a single USB 3.0 Female connection". It actually gives you TWO female USB3 connections coming off the single USB3 motherboard header, like it is supposed to.

Enjoy the speed!

Yep, I never know what I will receive from a chinese eBay ad. Is it the description the one I should believe or the picture? Or none of them? Or are both correct?
