Temp advice on my setup, i7-920 @4Ghz

Hi peeps,

I have a setup on a ASUS P6t Deluxe OC Palm edition with a CPU i7-920 @ 4GHZ. I have a 120MM thermaltake rad, a coolermaster 2000rpm fan and a good 500lph pump. However my cpu is idling at around 50 Degees C. Is that normal or is it because I am using a very crap waterblock? The waterblock is a syscooling one which is a chinese cheap crap thing. http://www.syscooling.com/products/W...1/0921/41.html

thank you

Yep, and probably not enough rad under load. I'd say the block first.

Looking at all the blocks on that site, I have never seen one at all.

Where did you find this stuff?

And 500 LPH with poor head pressure.......... Isn't that great either, no idea on what pump tyou have. Rad is good if not small.

For Syscooling I am their reseller haha! I thought I would try some of the products out, turns out the cpu block wasn't that good, the reservoir is nice though! (3.5" clear bay with temp sensor)

Will be buying a better block on a budget but don't really know what to buy.

Lol, Been a long time since I read the stickies so probably changed by now. I will have a read in a few mins.. Will be having a look online for some blocks. Any reccommendations for W/C sites? I usually buy my bunch of stuff from watercoolinguk and CandCcentral .

Thanks buddy.
