Dumb Question...

This is a Really dumb question.

Ill get to the point..

How do i install a fan grill... i know you need a saw, but i think i know how...

Do i cut it the length of the fangrill, get a retail fan w screws, then go ahead put the grill on, make 4 holes for the screws, on the other side of the case put the fan, screw the grill into the fan, then your set? or how..?

If you have the grill already, use it as a template for the hole and the screws. If you are going to use a jigsaw, tape around the outside of the circle to prevent scratching. I recommend placing some thin plywood, if you have any, inside or under where you are going to cut to prevent vibration(which can throw your cut off). After the hole is cut, install the fan inside, the grill outside, and you are good to go.
