Hey guys

Looking for feedback as I want my first rig to be a good'un!

My budget is about £550-£600 (MAX)

Processor - i5-3570K

Graphics - GTX 560 1GB

Motherboard - Gigabyte Z68AP-D3

Memory - Patriot Viper extreme (8GB)

HDD - WD Caviar Blue 500GB

Optical - LG DVD Writer

Power Supply - Corsair CX 600W(500W) - £57/£44

Case - BitFenix Outlaw Case

Maybe drop to a 2500K and squeeze a 6870 in there?

Might want to look at an ASRock Z77 Pro4 as well.

just curious, if you dont mind me asking, what's wrong with the 560?

Nothing's particularly wrong with it. The 6870 is just better price/performance and probably the best price performance at that budget range.

Nothing is really wrong with what is on the list. If it fits what you are looking for then it will work, if it does not shop around on the internet or local computer store and see what is out there.

You have an unlocked processor listed there, so I assume you'll be overclocking. Do you have an aftermarket cooler in your budget there?
