Wasn't sure whether to post this under the AMD CPU's section or the memory
section, since it deals with both, hopefully I have the right one though.
So, what are some socket 939 CPU's that have good memory controllers capable of high memory clocks?
Here's a list of what I know:
Athlon 64 4000+ San Diego-Mine has a pretty good memory controller, capable of 300MHz+ with good hardware. I only need around 2.7V at 2.5-4-4-10 2T (Values to be updated later if or when I find the lowest timings I can run at.) with TCCD memory to be stable (or stable enough for the system to run at least) at DDR600-625.
Athlon 64 X2 4200+ Manchester-I don't know about others, but mine is a total dog when it comes to memory clocks. I couldn't get mine to try to load up the OS at 275+, and at 270 it loads the OS, but quickly blue-screens once it makes it to the desktop.
