Ok. Here is an idea I had. I am thinking of making a small cube case out of blue tintied plexi. I want o know how small anyone thinks i may be able to get it (with two cd drive bays) and what I might need to make it. If not plexi then thin sheet metal.

no i believe this is the right place, if you wanna make the case a cube it would have to be 12x12x12 inches (12" wide, 12" long and 12" high, if u decide to do this post some pics, cause im also thinking about making a case out of plexi.

Don't worry, this is the right forum for this post. :) If your worried about the lack of replies, it is because there have been a lot of posts on this topic recently, and people are kind of beginning to just skim over this topic of thread.

You should be able to make your case very very very small. Take a look at .BinarySuoerman's Hamster Cage Case. It wasn't even a cube either... Your case could be even smaller if you want it to be. Just try to get good airflow because it will be  HOT

Use plexi, it is much easier to build a case from plexi than it is to build a case out of sheet metal.

Heres a couple threads that should have some very helpful information on the subject:

Will a 12"x12"x12" cube be able to house a mobo, PS, 2 drives and all the wiring?
Maybe huh...
That reminds me of a Clown car!
