Patriot launched this new RAM and I noticed it has quite a few shiny adjectives like LIMITED EDITION and EXTEREME and MASTER attached to it. Has anyone heard anything about this RAM? Is it anything special?
I was looking into buying some RAM and had about decided on this kit: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231477
until I saw the Patriot one. I could find much info on Google about it, so I figured I'd ask here. Which model should I get?

I have a set coming from Patriot next week that I will be reviewing (on another site)
They are supposed to be higher-binned sets of the patriot viper III sticks.

Is that good? I'm no guru on memory, only reason I ask. :) I'm trying to make a decision soon because my 10% off RAM coupon for Newegg expires in two days

I have no idea if they're good.

They should be Hynix IC which is good. If you are going to set them to stock speeds get whatever set you can find the cheapest :)

In worst case it will be the same as Viper 3 series and in many reviews these kits had problems to oc or even run at stock settings. Hard to say if this limited series are better but I would pick other kit.
I'm waiting for moocow's review ;)
