I have recently bought the setup below,and the 1600 ram,runs at 1333.

Mobo: http://ro.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=4030#ov

CPU: AMD A6 3500

Ram: 2x Kingston HyperX Blu 4GB DDR3 1600MHz CL9 KHX1600C9D3B1/4G

If i set the multiply to 8 or select the 1600 option in the bios i get (photo 1).The only way that the RAM runs at 1600 +/- is if i set the Host Clock to 124 instead if 100.And even then, sometimes CPU-Z shows the ram as default at 667,and only goes up when used(futurmark shows the ram as 667 everytime)

Can anyone help me with this problem?:salute:

Have you tried manually setting the RAM timings?

Yes,same thing happend.I don`t know if i did it properly tho:rain:

Edit:I have Touch bios, and i try to do it from there, because i have a ps/2 keyboard with a ps/2 to usb adapter and it doesent work when booting,so i cant enter the bios, but if i do something and get that error in photo 1,then i can enter the bios. :D

Take DDR3 Voltage Control off Auto and set it to 1.65V, adjust the four primary timings (CAS# Latency, RAS to CAS R/W Delay, Row Precharge Time, and Minimum RAS Active Time) to 9-9-9-24; disable DRAM EOCP, and possibly raise the CPU NB VID Control (I believe Auto or Normal sets it to 1.1V). These settings w/ the Memory Clock at x8.00 = DDR3-1600, and 1T/2T Command Timing set to 2T; all sub-timings on Auto.

I hate when the only timings given on a ram module is the CL and that's it, you have no idea what the others are, is it 9-9-9-24? 9-11-9-27? or what?
I had same problem on my GA-990FXA-UD5 with Viper Xterme 2X4GB ram 9-11-9-27, 1.65V. I had to manually set the timings in the DRAM configuration settings.

The KHX1600C9D3B1/4G datasheet gives timings of 9-9-9, but omits tRAS which I assumed was 24. Probably wrong of me to assume, so I would probably just leave it on Auto until you can verify the XMP settings w/ something like CPU-Z.

Thanks for the reply`s!

I will try 9-9-9-24(where i bought them, they said 24).The problem is that on my mobo,if i select manual, than everything is set to manual.
I`v set as above in touch bios, and restarting now.

Later Edit:

After the restart CPU-z shows 800(so 1600).I have tried this before, and failed because i didn`t raise the CPU NB VID Control. In the SPD tab they are still shown as 667mhz.

Thanks very much for the help!

Now is the any way to get them to 1866 without changing the Host Clock?
