Hey all. I have a stock AMD CPU cooler and the fan is crazy loud. Could I run without the fan?

My temps atm (with fan) are 22 C at idle and 54 C under load. I don't overclock and the most stressful thing I do might be a few skechups projects and WinRAR archiving.

Standard room temps. About 76 F (idk what that is in celcius.)

Thanks.

I wouldn't recommend it. Tiny amounts of airflow is MUCH better than no airflow at all. I'd just buy a quieter fan and ziptie it on the heatsink.

I mean, I can buy a replacement 92mm fan - that won't be a problem.

I'll just test it tonight - maybe I'll switch the outtake fan to intake at the top.
