G Skill Ares or the Mushkin Black line

originally i was going to purchase this

but when i saw that the asrock board i purchased come with these memory sticks

i was like

then i felt discenment kick in and i started to look this sticks up because i just found out they have these timings

9-9-9. did some more reasearch and found its 9-9-9-2n.

did i make a mistake?

Nope, I just saw that the Extreme4 comes with a free set of RAM. It's a solid set and a great sale by Newegg.

Yeah, RAM has nothing to do with overclocking this generation of CPUs.

You did well, no worries. There is even a decent chance they'll run 1T without any other adjustment.
