I've opened my ports via my routers IP page. Every time I use a port checker... it says they are closed :\

This is exactly how it looks..

Obviously, that's not the router for the ISP. You need to check the settings on the modem the ISP issued to you.

You should first try with the Linksys bypassed. (Just connected straight to the modem that you use.)

Ok I've connected the modem. Typed in the IP to see my settings... i dont have any option for port fowarding?

What i have: Status, HW/FW Versions, Event Log, CM State ,RIP

RIP Status: RIP not provisioned idk what that is though.

:\

I have time warner cable
with arriss MODEL: TM602G

I did, they are closed still. There is no option on the modem setting to open or close any ports...?

only way to see "open ports" is if a service is running on that port too just FYI.

for example, if i forward RDP (3389) to a computer with RDP not enabled even if you port scan the status of 3389 will be "closed"
