HDD not showing up as SATA II?

Recently had the 2.5" HDD in my laptop replaced with TOSHIBA MK5061GSY. Old hard drive was a SATA II Seagate Momentus 500 gb. New HDD is the same size. But after I reinstalled and got it running for some reason it shows a SATA I connection. It's odd cuz i used the same cable and the drive is rated for SATA II. Anyone know what could be the problem?

Where are you seeing it showing as a SATA I connection?

What laptop do you have? Forgot to ask that.
